Welcome to LAIR!
LAIR is a non-profit association of those working in or interested in Institutional Research (IR) in the state of Louisiana. LAIR hosts a yearly conference and/or workshops for IR professionals which addresses issues of interest to the institutional researcher. LAIR members come from all five of Louisiana's higher educational systems and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
LAIR Conference
The Louisiana Association for Institutional Research’s (LAIR) 2024 conference will be held at the Claiborne Building in Baton Rouge July 16 and 17. This year the conference aims to bring the institutional research community together for collaboration, and professional development. The conference will host a Newcomers session for those members that are new to the world of Institutional Research. The LAIR 2024 conference annual business meeting will hold elections for LAIR Vice-president and Secretary.

The Southern Association for Institutional Research (SAIR) 2024 conference is being held at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta this year from September 28 through October 1. For more information on SAIR’s Conference celebrating 50 years, visit the website at: https://www.sair.org/conferences/sair-2024/
LAIR will be awarding one travel grant of $500 for SAIR 2024. If you are interested in applying, the deadline for submission is July 12, 2022. We will announce the recipient at the LAIR Business meeting in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, July 16.
