Keeping the health and safety of our community at the forefront of our decision making, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 AIR Forum, originally scheduled for May 25–29 in New Orleans, including pre-/postconference education. We will instead offer a virtual conference. Stay tuned for details, which will be communicated soon
The cancellation decision was not made lightly, but with a high priority on the health and safety of our community, considering guidance from the U.S. Centers on Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other experts, and recognizing many of you are limited by various travel restrictions.
It is disappointing. Our presenters and sponsors were poised to create an engaging conference experience, and we were all looking forward to connecting with colleagues. Ultimately, given the rapidly deteriorating circumstances caused by the coronavirus in New Orleans, other U.S. cities, and around the world, we felt it was in the best interest of our presenters, attendees, sponsors, and staff to cancel the Forum.
